EAACI Congress 2010, the largest allergy congress ever

Dear friends,

A few weeks have now passed since the 2010 EAACI Congress in London, which you all know was a great success both scientifically and attendance wise. With more than 8'000 delegates, it was the largest allergy congress ever organised in the world, and brought in attendance from well over 100 countries. I would like to express my greatest admiration and gratitude to those that have organised the Congress, including the Congress President, Professor Anthony Frew, the Scientific Programme Committee coordinator Christian Virchow, the EAACI Vice President for Congresses Cezmi Akdis, the EAACI Congress Manager Susanne Rothschild, and the Congrex team around Jenny Strömgård who sorted out all the logistics so very well. But most importantly, I wish to thank YOU, the delegates, the speakers and the presenters of novel scientific data. Without YOU, EAACI would not be what it is.

Now we look forward to next years Congress in Istanbul, 11-15 June 2011, but before then EAACI is organising a whole series of Mini Congresses:

• ISMA 2010, Munich, Germany, 29-31 October 2010, www.eaaci-isma2010.com
• ERAM/SERIN 2010, Brussels, Belgium, 4-6 November 2010, www.eaaci-eram-serin2010.com
• SAM 2010, Venice, Italy, 11-13 November 2010, www.eaaci-sam2010.com

EAACI is not only a five day congress once a year, but a platform for communication of science throughout the year. Follow our websites and participate in the activities. By doing that you are not only up to date, but you influence the future of allergy in Europe and the World.

Best regards,
Jan Lötvall
EAACI President
